From there flowed the title which sits very well with me as it has a reconciliation undertone and speaks of a willingness to confront differences. I spent a great deal of time on the placement and finally came up with the idea of a simple plinth with a twist. Each horse can rotate 360 degrees. This gives yet another dimension to the work as one can change the perceived message by simply arranging the position of the horses to one of infinitely many possibilities. This sculpture in its technique is a three dimensional line drawing made of recycled steel. That in itself sets the piece apart from traditional cast works.

This piece is about synergy between man and horse. A high, internal and unspoken communication. To depict this, man has almost melted into the horse (as opposed to riding it and trying to dominate) looking in the same direction, both are part of the same flow.

Heavy draught horse (front end). Here is a strong, proud and confident message. This was created from thick laser cut steel plate and has developed a beautiful red-brown patina. A wonderful outdoor piece with a good down to earth feeling to it.

A rearing stallion. Somewhat of a classic interpretation of an equine with a twist. I wanted something powerful in its message but light in appearance. The hot dip galvanized round bar gives this piece a uniquely airy appearance. It is reminiscent of a ghost while it is there one can see right through and it's not quite there.
